Students will have a chance to experience the culture, history, discipline, and fun found in different martial arts. They will have the opportunity to experience Korean Taekwondo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Choy Li Fut Kung Fu, and combinations of self-defense techniques. Each camp day will be filled with physical and mental workouts, powerful cardio kicking drills, delicate hand techniques and forms, and a basic introduction to the bo-staff (the most common self-defense object found). The last day will include a board-breaking event. Along with being taught to defend themselves, students will learn the discipline and responsibility associated with the knowledge of martial arts as well as the respect for life that is essential for a person to have.
